This version is a very exciting editor update. It provides an SQM parser, so that SQM mission files can be read in by the program. This means two things:

  1. It is easier to "inject" classes into the SQM file for things like groups or triggers
  2. Changes in the SQM file can be read in and saved to the Anvil Editor (e.g. you can move a marker in the A3 editor and have it update in the Anvil Editor)

These changes rely on a neat little "monadic parser" library known as Sprache and are available as a separate C# project and DLL so that you will be able to use them in your own .NET application. The detailed change log is provided below.

Known Issues

  • [ED] SQM Parser doesn't like comments /* */ or // (A3 editor seems to remove these anyway) - probable won't fix
  • [ED] SQM Parser doesn't like variable names with underscores - probable won't fix
  • [ED] Available IDs should be allocated lowest to highest, order should be reversed
  • [FW] FW_fnc_doSetObjectiveState gives script error on dedicated servers, call FW_fnc_setObjectiveState instead (must be admin)
  • [FW] Completed tasks are still visible for JIP players
  • [FW] Ammo/Special weapons boxes can spawn in invalid locations and blow up
  • [FW] Random patrols destination selection is a bit buggy
  • [FW] Rewards don't appear in single player
  • [FW] Cookoff script capable of bursting eardrums
